The channels will stop telecasts from 31st December 2025. The brand's future presence will pivot heavily to its streaming service, Paramount+, and its social media channels. The shutdown marks the final chapter of MTV’s decades-long transformation, emphasizing the necessity for media giants to aggressively adapt to the digital-first landscape.
